Multi-location is a Business plan feature. Once you upgrade, you get unlimited locations, unlimited numbers, and consolidated reporting across the whole business. The setup takes 10-15 minutes per location.
Adding a new location
- Settings > Locations > Add location
- Name ("Westside", "Downtown", "North Austin")
- Address (used for Google Local SEO + driving directions in agent replies)
- Hours (independent of other locations)
- Timezone (critical if locations are in different ones)
- Assign staff to this location (a stylist can belong to multiple)
- Pick the service menu (defaults to a copy of HQ — edit per-location pricing if needed)
- Buy a phone number for this location (or forward an existing one)
How the agent routes by location
The agent knows which location a conversation belongs to because each location has its own phone number. A text to the Westside number books a Westside slot, with Westside staff, at Westside pricing. A text to the Downtown number books Downtown.
If a client texts asking for a service at a location that's full, the agent will proactively offer the same service at the nearest other location: "Westside is fully booked Thursday but Downtown has 11am open — same staff, same price, 1.2 miles away. Want it?" Most clients say yes.
Per-location pricing + services
Each location has its own service menu. Most operators start by cloning HQ's menu and edit prices for the secondary location. Common pattern: 5-10% higher pricing in the higher-rent location, identical service list.
Some services exist at one location only (e.g. you have a laser device at downtown but not westside). Just leave it off the westside menu — the agent won't offer it there.
Staff across locations
Staff can belong to multiple locations. The agent reads their availability per-location: Maria works Tuesdays at Westside, Wednesdays at Downtown. The agent won't book her in two places at once.
If a client has a strong preference for a specific staff member, the agent will track that across locations and offer their next slot at whichever location they're working that week.
Consolidated reporting
The dashboard rolls up across all locations by default. You can filter to a single location to see its specific metrics. Reports surface:
- Revenue per location
- Utilization per location (% of available chair-hours booked)
- No-show rate per location
- Dormant pipeline per location
- Staff utilization across locations
- Cross-location bookings (clients who visit multiple locations)
When to use sub-accounts vs. locations
Locations are for: same business, multiple physical addresses, shared brand, shared back-office. Sub-accounts are for: franchise model, separate owners, separate Stripe accounts, separate brands. If you're a single owner with multiple shops, use locations. If each shop has its own owner, contact us and we'll set up sub-accounts.
Frequently asked
Is there a per-location fee?
No. Business plan is $30,000/mo flat for unlimited locations. You'll pay Twilio for each phone number (~$2/mo each), but Deskwise's pricing doesn't scale per location.
Can different locations have different deposit policies?
Yes. Each location's settings override the global defaults. So your higher-end downtown studio can require $50 deposits while your suburban location requires $20.
What if I want to switch a single-location account to multi?
Upgrade to Business plan from Settings > Billing and the multi-location features unlock immediately. Your existing location becomes the first location; add more from Settings > Locations.

A 60-minute playbook for day one. Forward your number, load your menu, set deposits, and watch the agent take its first booking before lunch.
Service menu hygiene matters more than you think. Here's how to write services so the agent quotes them clearly.
TL;DR — pick a vertical, connect Stripe, get a phone number, and dial it. If you finish this list, the agent is live.
